A dip into calm, teeming waters with Shiit Creek.

Drawn out strings and effects loop seamlessly into long lazy drones, drifting on the surface of a still body of water. Below layers and smaller, tighter loops build - the teeming movement of tiny creatures that add to the whole. Bowed strings with an almost folk-like melodic sensibly blur into less discernible tones and blend with effects underneath, ebbing and swelling across the course of the album.

The whole album has a sense of stillness permeated by energy - the pond is serene but underneath are multitudes of tiny changes and shifts that contribute to the idyll on the surface. The tracks are full less in the sense that they are heavy or dense but more with small loops and melodic refrains that overlap beneath the main drone, never competing but sliding over and around each other like industrious microorganisms glimpsed under a microscope.
