Bubbles of electronic sound drift lazily toward the surface of a synthesised lagoon on Avon MeanTime's debut release. In Dreams is a serene soak in this sonic pool - an oneiric rendition of water and submersion.
Arpeggiated tones float through swells of electronic drones, moving forward and receding through the currents, at times heard as though sunken deep below the listener and others as if droplets splashing on the surface. In Dreams conjures immersive soundscapes similar to Eno's ambient works, providing a spacial environment in which to float for a while.
Avon MeanTime is the alias of Charlotte Mair, born and raised in Somerset but now based in London. Working with analogue synthesisers, she produces ethereal soundscapes with which to escape a hectic contemporary life.
